Katerina Vasileska

Katerina Vasileska is Program Manager at LDA. she is born in Ohrid but spends most of her time in Struga since 2007 when she became part of LDA team. Her responsibilities include: grant writing, fundraising, strategic planning, establishing partnerships and promoting LDA's projects. She especially enjoys sharing her experience with others and gives presentations in leaderships skills and project managment.
Her main passion is to establish the Leadership Academy in Macedonia where she could inspire future leaders of the country become positive change agents. Education wise Katerina holds European Regional Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democracy and has been participating in numerious trainings in the Balkan Countries, EU, USA, Israel. Privately, she enjoys bicycling, swimming, cooking healthy food, yoga, and watching TED Talks and RSA Animate.

Jasminka Popovska

Jasminka Popovska is the President and Executive Director of LDA. She has been part of LDA since the very beginning in 2004. Her main tasks are: planning, budgeting, coordinating and monitoring of the project activities, presenting LDA in front of other organizations, task division between the team members, ensuring the procedures and laws are followed. In one word - Jasminka is THE ONE - the engine of LDA. She is currently pursuing her M.A. in Sustainable Tourism, and has participated in many national and international trainings.
Jasminka's main desire is to implement projects that can make Struga the perfect place for life, because it deserves it.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and farming in her garden.

Elena Mihajlovska

Elena Mihajlovska came to the team of LDA as a researcher on the project ,,Philanthropy – love for humanity in action'” . Now she works as a local coordinator on ,,LOTOS study “ within the project “Exchange of EU best practices in the area of anticorruption monitoring on local level” in partnership with Center for Research and Policy Making CRPM, Skopje. She was born in Gostivar but the last 6 years living in Ohrid. She is a journalist and she worked 4 years for newspaper ,,Dnevnik”. Several months she worked with the editorial ,,Utrinski vesnik”' and two years she was a journalist editor in weekly newspaper ,,Monitor’’. Now she writes articles for the portal ,,OhridNews”.

Adelina Ajdari

Adelina joined our team in November 2017 as a new member and volunteer. She is born in Ohrid on July 7’th, 1994, has a degree on economics and business and she loves being a change maker. When she first joined LDA she had little experience and a lot of ideas she wanted to make true, that’s why she started right away with her first project just after a few months. She now works as a project manager on the project “Improve yourself – Improve your community!” supported by USAID’s Civic engagement project. Her main passion is to make our country a better place in economical, social and cultural aspects. 
She is a firm believer that hard work pays off and wants to prove to the youth especially and to all the other generations that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU WANT IT BAD ENOUGH!  In her free time Adelina enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
