”Theatre Of The Oppressed” - Educative Toll For Behavior Change

About the project:
Welfare of society depends on being in families. Principles that are based on family relationships are inevitably reflected in the whole society. Children who grow up in a healthy environment where there is respect between parents, love and cooperation, continue to apply these values outside of their home. In contrast, children who witness domestic violence can later become abusers or to accept as normal the role of victim. Young people often do not recognize and define domestic violence as a negative phenomenon, because violence is still a taboo topic that is not being talked about. The project aims to teach young people how to recognize and effectively deal with negative behaviors in the family. Target group are young people of 14-18 years from the municipalities of Struga, Ohrid and Vevcani.
