MEMORIAL HOUSE OF BROTHERS MILADINOVCI
The Memorial House of the brothers Miladinovci was built in honour of Dimitar and Konstantin Miladinovi for everything that they did for the Macedonian National renaissance.
The elder brother, Dimitar Miladinov, had been a collector of Macedonian folk art that later would be printed in the famous “Zbornik na makedonski narodni pesni”- a collection of Macedonian folk songs, which became an example for all Slav nations.
The younger brother, Konstantin Miladinov is the founder of the contemporary Macedonian poetry and in his honour, his song”T’ga za jug” (Longing for the south) is being interpreted each year at the opening of Struga Poetry Festival.
The Memorial House of Miladinovci is located in the street named after them. On the ground floor are displayed the tools of their father who made pottery (very much in those days). Several clay pots, which are displayed on a separate place, date from that period, too. Exhibits of the works of the brothers Miladinovci are displayed on the first floor, as well as some objects from the life of their contemporaries and friends, too. The second floor is completely dedicated to the life and work of Konstantin and Dimita, and their achievements are displayed.

THE ART GALLERY "VANGEL KODZOMAN"
The exhibition-remembrance of Vangel Kodzoman consists of paintings which are part of the works of this artist from Struga. This is a constant exhibition opened in 1974 and displayed in the Memorial House of Kodzoman. The cycle of paintings called “Struga in the past” reveals the passion of this artist to represent the old-town motives which are constantly disappearing today.
His interest for various art categories is significant: portrait-act-figure, landscape, old-town architecture, still nature; and for various topics and techniques: oil on canvas, aquarelle, drawings, and pastel.
An inevitable conclusion is that the painting art of Vangel Kodzoman takes a significant place in the Macedonian contemporary art. His intention was to create a “bridge” towards the world of the viewer, staying open for exchange in both ways. Leaving his paintings in the Memorial House, Vangel Kodzoman succeeded to make a bridge towards the viewers and to present to the young generations everything that existed in Struga and that can not be seen any more…
The Art Gallery “Vangel Kodzoman” is located in the centre of the town and is used as a gallery which has a constant exhibition of paintings, a gift from the artist to the Struga municipality. It is also used for other exhibitions organized by the painting department.
