"Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Macedonia" – First phase

About the project:
The coalition of youth organizations SEGA in cooperation with the Local Development Agency Struga continue with implementation of the project "Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Macedonia." This project will directly act on the protection of children's rights in primary and secondary schools, it will contribute to improvement of the functioning of school organizations and school processes of electing a president. Activities of the project are implemented in the Secondary School "D-r Ibrahim Temo" and Primary School "Braka Miladinovci" in Struga.
Timeframe:
February 2013 - June 2013
Activities:

- Organizing 3 training sessions on "Protection of children's rights" of children's ombudsmen and 5 trainings on "Youth Participation" of the members of the student community in schools

- Organizing info school days during which children ombudsmen will inform their classmates for children's rights and the role of the Child Attorney

- Making research (survey) for the specific needs and opinions of students about a particular situation related to the rights of students in school

- Organising a presentation and debate over which will be presented the results of research
